Today, many sports teams around the world are proud to be wearing uniforms made out of recycled plastic bottles. Quality is not compromised. The opposite is the case.
Our fabrics perform as well as and also better than their virgin competitors.
Our fabric department and our R&D team are constantly innovating new RPET fabrics.
In 2020 they developed an Interlock/Rashknit that is 79% RPET / 21% spandex mix that outperforms the leading activewear brands in blind focus group tests. This was based on fit, stretch, moisture wicking, breathability and snag-resistance.
All of these qualities are essential for high performance active wear for men and ladies including shorts, tops, leggings, sports bras and skorts. Each meter of this fabric takes 20 plastic bottles out of the environment and puts them to use in this new life as hard-wearing activewear.
We also created Birdseye Mesh and Ripstop fabrics that are ideal for a wide range of sports wear.
